I’ve worked in tax for more than 35 years, long enough to have watched the law change again and again and to know how to navigate it for my clients. I opened my own practice in 2008, and my focus has sharpened on small business owners and the families behind them. As a business owner myself, I see the business return and the personal return as one connected picture. What I love most is understanding my clients’ lives so I can truly guide them, not just file a return.
Before Sapere, I spent more than 30 years in business and technology program management - including a decade running my own consultancy. That background gave me a deep understanding for how numbers and decisions connect. It’s something I love to think about, always seeking to find efficiencies, improvements and new and better solutions. Today, I get to research the tax code, understand the needs of my clients, and help them make sound financial decisions that set them up for success.
